Barmy Army beat Allsorts on Friday by 38. Allsorts went on first and hit 65 giving them a 2 pin lead after the first hand. Then Allsorts hit 66 and Barmy Army replied with 81 for a 13 pin lead. Allsorts third hand of 69 was beaten again with a 76 hand from the Army. Allsorts then had a 64 and Barmy Army hit 74 in the fourth. In the fifth Barmy Army pretty much sealed the game when Allsorts hit 60 and the Army put in a hand of 80 to take a 60 pin lead. Allsorts best hand came in the 6th with 91 to which Barmy Army lost 15 pins, hitting 76 and on the final hand Allsorts hit 76 and Barmy Army had 68.
Lee Kenny was the star man with 88!! His scores were 9 – 18 – 15 – 16 – 15 – 9 – 6. Three of the stick-ups were first ball floppers!!
