3CA were 34 pins up after three hands, but to their credit the Bees fought their way back into the match. 3CA set them the target of 72 to win, and it came down to anchor man Nigel Notley who needed 9 to win and it looked good as he left a crown three after his first ball , but unfortunately for him and the Bees his second ball could only punch the landlord out and a bolter with his next ball gave 3CA a narrow victory as they chase the runners up spot.
