The Management

Back in September The Management reached the grand finals of the Blackthorn British Championship mixed competition. The Management lead by Brian Newton and consisting of members from the Dorchester & District skittle committee had qualified for the finals after beating a team from Budleigh Salterton home and away. In the first round of the grand finals they were paired against the Motley Crue and stormed into an early lead and looked as if they were through as they left the Crue 79 to win but Motley Crue rose to the challenge and hit 86 to go through and left The Management players a little stunned. The Management played in the plate but although they gave it their best they went out of that in the first round as well. Although disappointed the players and their supporters partied on into the early hours of the morning and all had a really great weekend.
