The ladies semi-finals were played this week at the Trinity Club. Brewers Bumpkins played against Section A winners Oakettes , Brewers Bumpkins were 7 up after the first hand and then it was all square after 3 hands. Oakettes were 8 up going into the last hand and they secured the game by winning by 12 pins. Final scores were Oakettes 383 and Brewers Bumpkins 371. Top scorers were Jennie Ross with 53 for Oakettes and Sandy Chubb with 55 for Brewers Bumpkins.
Oakettes will play Cheeky Pinky Ladies in the final, following their win against Colliton Bloomers . The scores in that game were Bloomers 377 and Cheeky Pinky Ladies 382. Top scorer for Bloomers was Sally Childs with 57 and Donna was top score for Cheeky Pinky Ladies with 58. The final will be played at The Three Compasses Charminster on Tuesday 29th April.
