Wide Boys back with a win

Colliton Wide Boys 429 - 385 Hammers

Wide Boys managed to return to winning ways last night against a poor Hammers team who didn't hit a hand above 58. Wide Boys certainly didn't play as consistently as they have been recently with a large number of scores below 7. However, after starting with hands of 61, 64 and 70 they found themselves 24 pins up. Wide Boys then hit three consecutive 57 hands that gained them another 11 pins and finished with a 64 hand to win by 44 pins. Matt Slade had his first top score (63) since the first game of 2008 and Justin Hallett was bottom score with 49 despite finishing with a 11-pin stick up. Lloyd Mitchem top scored for Hammers once again with 62.
