Skimmers back with a win

Skimmers bounced back after last weeks poor score with a good win at the Bladen Club.
Skimmers started well and were 14 up after two hands. The third hand Wanderers scored 76, with spares from Tony Belt and Martin Tucker, to give them a lead of 24. Skimmers replied with hands of 68, 74, and 67 to put them back in front with a 10 pin lead going into the last hand. Wanderers needing 69 to win took it to the last ball of the match, Martin Tucker needing 18 to win got the spare but could only score 12. Martin was top score for Wanderers hitting 67 while Darryl Burt was top for Skimmers with 65.
