Marco maintained their winning ways with a 44 pin victory against the Colliton Spares. After opening up with scores of 76, 67 and 77 in the first three legs the match was pretty much decided with a lead of 46 pins created. To their credit the 'Spares' came back to reduce the lead to 35 with two legs to go, however Marco managed to continue to hit a stick up a leg and with final legs of 68 and 72 secured the win. In a good team effort, six players hit over 60 for Marco led by Pete Bolton with 65, and for the 'Spares' Luke Gatehouse was top man with 63 with support from Paul Rogers with 60.
