Three Compasses lose their way at the Colliton

For the second week running Wide Boys found themselves 12 down after the first hand, 3CA threw first and hit 68 courtesy of a 16 stick up from Adie Long. Wide Boys pulled 2 back on the second hand, and went 2 up themselves after 3CA hit a poor 50 hand and Wide Boys hit 62.
3CA then hit another poor hand of 52 which Wide Boys punished with a 67 to go 17 up on the fourth hand. The fifth hand was tied, and 3CA then hit 63 on the sixth hand, Wide Boys were struggling to hit a mid 50 hand until the bottom two hit 22 between them (Andy Fowler 13 Justin Hallett 9) to reach a total of 60 which left them 14 up going into the last hand.
3CA seemed to resign themselves to defeat and finished with a 47 hand that included an OXO from Skid. Wide Boys finished with a 65 hand to win by a comprehensive 32 pins.
This gave Wide Boys their ninth win in a row and twelve wins out of the last thirteen games.
