Wide Boys won by 17 but if Skimmers had taken full advantage of all their spares the result could have been different.
Skimmers took a 7 pin lead on the first hand with a 65. Wide Boys responded in the 2nd with 71, spares from Andy Fowler (14) & Justin Hallet (12), to go 4 ahead. The next 3 hands were tied. The home side increased their lead to 7 on the 6th & finished with a 72 hand to win comfortably.
Four of the spares for Skimmers only returned a score of 9, 9, 10 & 11.
