Imps remain unbeaten

Both teams started the match with a steady hand of 57. The only stick ups of the night came on the next hand as Imps hit a 64 hand with stick ups from Terry Gosney (11) and Keith Wyatt (14), Woodman anchor man Andy Lovett had a chance to get close to the home sides total but a stick up bolter gave his team a 55 hand and a 9 pin lead for the Imps.
On the third hand the Gurkha Inn side struggled to a 52 hand, but still managed to pull 2 more pins as Woodman could only hit 50.
Imps best hand of the night a 66 without a stick up proved to be the match winner as they went 23 pins in front. A 60 on the fifth hand from the Imps again pulled pins as the Imps found themselves 35 pins in front.
On the sixth hand Woodman managed to pull 5 pins back as they beat Imps hand of 55 with a 60 hand. Both teams finished the match the way they started tying the hand with 59 each.
Top score for the Imps was Terry Gosney and Keith Wyatt with 56 but it was an all round solid team performance that gave the Imps their third win of the season to keep them unbeaten.
A.Climo was top for the Milborne side with 56 which included four 8's and two 9's.
