Motley Crew went on first & hit 56, Skimmers replied with 72, spares from Timmy Reed & Derrick Knight, to go 16 up. M.Crew then picked up & hit 77 on the 2nd. Skimmers had a reasonable 66 but lost 11 pins to remain 5 ahead. The 3rd hand was the turning point, Motley Crew hit 66 but Skimmers could only manage 54, giving the home team a 7 pin lead. Motley Crew increased their lead to 15 by the 5th but could only manage 56 on the final hand leaving Skimmers 72 to win. If they could match their 1st hand it was possible but they were unable to get any spares and lost by 11 pins.
