Dog shines but Imps get the points

Breakaways took a 2 pin lead on the first hand , but a 57 hand saw The Imps go 4 pins in front on the second hand. On the third hand The Imps pulled further away with the help of a 13 from Kevin Diment as they hit 63 and Breakaways followed with 56 to give The Imps a 11 pin lead. Two more pins were added on the fourth hand, but on the fifth Breakaways pinched the two pins back again with a 61 hand with the help of "The Dog" who had a 14. The last two hands belonged to The Imps as they hit 59 and 58 to give them a 27 pin victory. Keith Wyatt was The Imps top score with 58 which included a 13 on the last hand while Barry Gosney hit 55. The star player for the Breakaways was Ashley "The Dog" Churchill who was the best player on the alley hitting an excellent 64.
